PCI-7041 communicate with PCI-GPIB board

I need to run vi on the PCI-7041 RT target. And at the same time I need to get data from a PCI-GPIB board installed in the same host computer for the PCI-7041 RT target. Basically I need to use the GPIB board get some measurement result from a Tek oscilloscope (taking advantage of its higher sampling rate).

Is there some way to do that?

Moreover, can write some data back to the host computer harddrive from the RT target board.

Thanks a lot!

Hello Raymond,

The PCI-7041 functions like a standard RT target and allows for a program to be running on the target and another program to run on the host. So you could have the 7041 running and send data back to a program on the host that takes that data and writes it to a file and take GPIB data at the same time. YOu would need to follow the same programming practices used with a remote RT target.
