Problem to deploy EtherCAT

I try to deploy a EtherCAT master with a single EtherCAT slave and get the following error when trying.

I imported the xml file for the slave so it is located in the correct directory on the phar lap RT. I used the tool EC-Engineer to read the information from the slave and compared it against the xml file and it looks good.

I also manage to run it using EC-Engineer when connected to my Windows PC using a standard Ethernet port. The RT uses a NI PCIe-8233 as EtherCAT master.

Is there a way to get more information about what LabVIEW complain about?

Any idea what LabVIEW complaining about?

Best regards

Stefan

Hi sbackman,

It looks to me like the way in which you are identifying the device is causing an issue.

I would suggest as a next step that you create your own new project, import this target and device so as to ensure proper identification of the device from LV. The ability to discover will suggest that you can talk correctly to the device.

If you could then import any files from the original project and recreate it (hopefully this is not too long winded). Try then to deploy the project to see whether identification has been restored.

Kind Regards,

Matt
