Problem using FaulHaber motors with the MID-7654 Driver and PXI-7350 Controller

Our system is composed of 2 faulhaber motors (and a 3rd, new motor that experiences the same issue). These are wired into the MID-7654 Driver, which we have verified multiple times that the wires are correct. One notable thing is that these motors do not have an Encoder index wire. As such, they only know relative motion, not absolute. The MID-7654 is connected through the motion I/O of a PXI-7350 controller in a PXI-1033 chassis to the card seated on the motherboard.

Our issues are essentially just that the motors do not respond to the commands sent from NI MAX.

When we initialize, the motors start moving. halt and decelerate do nothing. To stop this movement from the initialization, you have to kill the axis. Once killed, the motors may or may not move when you hit run, when run does nothing, hitting halt will make them move slightly. When they do move on "run", it will most certainly get a following error.

When it does end up moving the count will either behave erratically (jumping all over the place) or oscillate between 0 and -1 which is not even close to how the axis is moving.

Any insights or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
