Hello count3r5r1ke,
Last month you created a forum about getting setup with the RIO evaluation kit (http://forums.ni.com/t5/Real-Time-Measurement-and/RIO-evaluation-kit-setup-wrong-serial-number/m-p/...), and I was working with you on that forum.
I just wanted to follow up with some additional information - your Intel GigE card should support automatic crossover detection, so you shouldn't actually need to use a cross-over cable to connect to your RIO evaluation kit. Did you end up using a cross-over cable for the connection? Did you try it with a straight through cable, and if so, did that work?

(My response: "When we were working on this, the regular cable did not work when connected directly, but it worked through a router, and that's the way I've always been using it. I have a crossover cable but never tried it. Thanks again. ")
