RT Watchdog Examples for cRIO

I have 8.5, and I haven't used the RT Watchdog palette yet.  Unfortunately the help seems very limited.  The context help provides a brief overview without detailing the inputs and outputs of the functions, and I'm not having much success in the example finder or forums.  I'm just looking for a general example or paper that would describe the main functions and how to use them.  Any suggestions?

There are several examples that are shipped with LabVIEW that contain watchdogs.  Select Help»Find Examples to open the Example Finder Window.  Select the Search tab and search for "watchdog".  Also check out the links below.
