Reverting to a previous version of DAQmx on a Real-time Desktop

I'm trying to revert to a previous version of DAQmx (version 9.1 from version 9.4) on a Real-time desktop (target computer).  Is there a simple way to just install DAQ 9.1 or would it be easier in the long run to format the drive and install an earlier version of the real-time system on the target machine?

One thing that I've already tried is reverting the DAQmx to 9.1 on the host computer and attempting to install the older DAQ through the Measurement and Automation Explorer.  The add/modify software option under the remote system software tab does not have a prompt for installing DAQmx 9.1.

Thanks.

James,

It was my suggestion to drop down to DAQmx 9.1. However, I did not consider that you would need to drop down to LabVIEW 2009 http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B0D5630C0A50D5C6862578E800459248 This feels like an unnecessary workaround, so I am going to see what more we can do.
