Run an example model.dll on CompactRIO with SIT

Hello!
I want to run a simulink model on the CompactRIO. Therefore I've already installed the SIT. The "Sine Wave" SIT-example from NI works already on my local host.
If I try to run the sinewave.dll on the CompactRIO I get always the following deployment status:
...
Deploying compatFileDialog.vi  (18.25 K)
Deploying SIT Set Model Parameter (buffer).vi
Failed to download SIT Set Model Parameter (buffer).vi
LabVIEW:  Failed to load shared library SITs.dll:SetParameterwBuf:C on RT target device.

Download completed with errors.

Does anybody now a solution to solve the problem?

Hello demon66,

the controler 9012 and 9014 dosent support SIT. For the controler 9002 and 9004 please transfer manual the files over ftp.

Thank you for your answer!

I actually use the cRIO 9014.
I want to run simulink models on the cRIO. Can you recommend me a controller to use these models.

Kind regards,

Mario

Hello,

yes you need a 9002 or a 9004 controler to use the simulink modul.

Hi demo66

What version of SIT are you using? SIT 4.0 has some features that will allow you to use SIT with the VxWorks controllers (9012 and 9014) although it is not completely supported. You will need some other files first that I can send you as well as some instructions. Do you have a service request open with an Applications Engineer? Could you post your e-mail address so I can contact you directly?

Thank you,

Ricardo Santa Olalla

Hi Ricksor!

Since yesterday I have a service request open. The Application Engineer told me, that there is a possibility to connect to SIT with some extra files. So I will wait for his solution. But thank you for your help.
