270 pF.
Which company's capacitor did you buy? I saw kinds of capacitors, but their voltage ratings are different. Which voltage rating do you choose?

Though I read your guys's message, I still have trouble communicating with SR 245 by using NI-488.2  GPIB. It allows me to write command, but commands return EABO.
 
My SR 245 was produced before 1990, so I placed a 270 pF's capacitor between 10 and 17 on the GPIB bus driver (part number 75161).
After I did this, I still can't communicate with SR 245.
 
I used downloaded drivers from NI websites. I tried using sr245.vi and sr 245 example.vi, I couldn't see any improvement.
 
Any suggestion?
