Serial to Ethernet Conversion in FPGA

I am using Crio with a custom C series GPRS module for Data communication. But the issue is i can transfer the data in Serial format, means I am not able to access my cRIO through GPRS.

My question is can i access my cRIO using custom C series GPRS module using any Serial to ethernet conversion, as i access it using LAN.

Are the cRIO and the host computer directly connected through an ethernet cable?

You can use it with the convertor. Which 3rd party module are you using ? Please elaborate a little more on the configuration .

The interface available with GPRS modem is RS232 via C series module interface available on rio Chasis.

So  is there any FPGA software algorithum conversion technique to virtually convert ethernet port of RT on RIO chasis port.

I did a similar setup a while ago with an older GPRS module. I had success with a third party standard serial to ethernet converter. Make sure to setup the unit properly and check that all data settings are matching.
