?Some body know how to programm the sound card for use it as a DAQ Board?

Hi,
Well im trying to use the sound card as a DAQboard because i know it has a ADC and a DAC but i don't have any idea about how to programm it to acquire data coming from analog signals.
If somebody knows stuff like that, PLEASE HELP ME, IT FOR MY TESIS OF THE UNIVERSITY!!!

Will you be using LabVIEW to aquire the data, or some other program or language? If you are using LabVIEW, there are example programs for controlling sound cards included (see the ~\labview\examples\sound directory). If money is a concern but you still want an easy and reliable data aquisition solution, rather than using a sound card, I would recommend you look at purchasing a low cost DAQ board. Look at the PCI-6024E (see http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?lang=US&pc=mn&cid=1064)

Matlab 6.1 DAQ toolbox has full control to get/write data to sound card.
You will not get any GAIN control, you have to use default resoution and GAIN provided by your sound card.
