Did you format and install your cRIO target using legacy method or the System Image?

The legacy installation does not enable SSH by default. See Accessing the Shell on NI Linux Real-Time Devices to enable it.

The system image installation enables SSH by default as the NI MAX uses SSH to carry out the installation.

SSH is enabled in Linux node, I can SSH from the machine where I installed NI MAX.

Is it possible just to transfer the packages I want to install directly to the cRIO so I don't have to setup the server etc?
