I am new in NI environment.
I need to record temperatures from the furnace and use PID controller at the same time. Furnace employs double thermocouple, one for alarm and the other for control of the temperature. Unfortunately, both units do not support temperature output or communication with third party software/hardware.
I need to split output of one of one thermocouple so that I can record temperatures with cDAQ-T1101.
Temperature transmitters has outputs 4-20 mA but cDAQ-T1101 accepts inputs 4-20 mV. I am puzzled here how to feed to cDAQ-T1101.
Do you have suggestions?

NI-9213 in the cDAQ-T1101 is meant to be used with the thermocouple directly.
For the temperature transmitters with current output, ideally you should use a current input module like NI-9208
It is possible to measure the current signal with a voltage input module using a shunt resistance. See Measuring Current with the NI Analog Voltage Input Channels
