Hello,
I'm using an NI-USRP-2920 with a built-in GPSDO.
Here is my setup:
- Windows 10
- NI-USRP driver: 2025 Q2
- NI MAX (latest version)
- Static IP: 192.168.10.2 (confirmed with ping)
- Bonjour installed
Issue:
- NI MAX shows “Devices and Interfaces” but I cannot right-click it.
- So I cannot add USRP manually.
- NI mDNS Responder does not appear in services.
- Tried: reinstalling NI MAX, removing config files (Data, mx.ini, etc.), rebooting.
- No progress.
Do you know how to fix this, or how to enable right-click / device detection?
Thank you in advance.

MAX does not support the USRP device. Use the NI-USRP Configuration Utility instead. Open the NI-USRP Configuration Utility from the Start menu at Start » All Programs » National Instruments » NI-USRP » NI-USRP Configuration Utility.

Thank you for your previous response.
I checked the Start menu under “National Instruments → NI-USRP”, but I could not find the “Configuration Utility” listed there.
Additionally, I searched my system but was unable to locate the NI-USRP Configuration Utility in any form. Could you please advise how I can install or enable it?
Best regards,
