Is there a VxWorks OS library call that will enable me to open a UDP multicast connection on a cRIO? I understand that Labview RT does not allow a multicast socket to be opened on a cRIO, but I've loaded IEEE 1588 module from the NI-Sync beta into the control and it appears to be opening a multicast socket to send the PTPv2 synch packets to a multicast address. So the lack of multicast support seems to be more of a Labview constraint than a hardware constraint.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm Lionel GIROD, manager of STeP. UDP multicats is only supported on LabVIEW 2009, but we have made a custom cRIO module to enable this feature on cRIO. See at http://sarlstep.free.fr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=63&Itemid=76
Our module is configurable with XML instructions.
Don't hesitate to contatc me.
