building a digital high pass filter

Hi all,

We want to design a fixed point High Pass filter for FPGA  using Digital Filter Design toolkit. There is a decent example in the NI Example Finder on Creating a fixed point low pass filter for FPGA , but we want a high pass filter. We tried changing the settings to realise the high pass fiter...... it did't work.  Can somebody help us in this respect. Its bit urgent.

Hello Aswin,

I'm happy to help you, though the more specific you can be, the better I can do so.  What problems did you have with realizing a high-pass filter?  Did it compile but not give you the response that you were looking for?  Did LabVIEW throw an error?

I'll set up a high-pass filter on my end as well and we can compare results.  Please let me know where to focus the efforts.
