I recently wrote a RT application for my cRIO 9074 device, and was able to deploy just fine. Then I went and installed the CalVIEW 3.12 modules onto the cRIO using MAX, and ever since then I have been unable to connect in LabView, and have limited connection with MAX. I have followed every suggestion posted on the help foums and NI site but have yet to find a suitable solution.
Interestingly I can connect to the cRIO from MAX with no problem when booted in safe mode, and used this method to adjust my IP settings. Using the IP reset DIP switch appeared to have no affect. I have ensured that everything is running on the same subnet (there is another cRIO device connected to the computer), and used sveeral different IPs that have been recommended in different forums. Also I switched to a static IP when the issue first occured, and have since set the new IP as a static one.
After booting in safe mode I can then restart my device in standard operating mode and it will appear connected in MAX. However attempting to connect in Labview will sever this connection. Also if I leave the device connected to MAX for too long the connection will timeout, and even though the device is on it will not appear in MAX until it is rebooted.
Is there anyone out there experiencing similar issues, or who has seen this before? I really need the help, and appreciate any and all assistance.

Hello Sir,
What is the version of NI-RIO that you have?
Also have you tried the Troubleshooting Network Communication section of the following document. The first thing would be to try and get the cRIO out of safe mode.
http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/375874b.pdf
I would also recommend a Reset on the coniguration data of your NI MAX. I think it would be a valid step to try on this case.
Please let me know if this actions help you.
