A thread in the context of this forum is a list of related messages, also called a discussion. This thread discusses a particular bug related to cRIO discovery and VMWare Server. If you don't have VMWare Server installed and configured with Virtual Network Adapters the discussion doesn't apply to your problem and the best you can do then is to start a new thread (discussion) regarding your cRIO problems. The will increase peoples overview in searching for a solution to a particular problem.
In short a thread (discussion) generally discusses one particular problem, therefor I suggested to you to start a new thread for your problem (it will also expose your new problem to more people, since more people will see new thread than posts on existing ones).
