hi
When using CompactRIO, is it any c series module for communication with ethernet protocol and RJ45 connector?
regards

Hello moonm,
Thanks for the post, can you provide some more information about your application. In regards your question, there is no C-Series Module specifically for Ethernet, however some cRIOs have multiple serial ports. You could also use a router for multiple Ethernet connections. I have included a link with more information about National Instruments Ethernet options. Hope this helps!

Hi..
In my application i'm using CompactRIO to calibrate 20 electronic meters (counter) in parallel.
*CRIO FPGA to communicate with:
---> 20 meters in parallel: 20 UART(RS232 or Ethernet).
---> 1 generator: 1 UART(RS232).
---> 1 standard meter: 1 UART(RS232).
---> 1 automaton: 1 UART(RS232 or Ethernet).
*CRIO RT for calculations ( floating point),adjusment and verification of 20 meters in parallel.
I ask about ethernet because i think that it is faster than RS232.

moonm, this may be what you are looking for:

Also, NI cRIO third party page:

I would suggest checking the NI cRIO third party page fairly frequently. Most of the NI engineers don't even hear about the third party modules unless they see them at one of the conferences or they are involved in their development somehow. That's one of the difficulties of having such a large company.
