deploying an exe into compact rio

Dear Labview Users,

                                      We are using compact rio 9002 and labview 8 version. We made a program to acquire the data through 9215 module, doing some calculations and transmitting to radio through serial port.  My problem is, I want to deploy this program permanently into the compact rio, because when power goes and comes the program must start automatically without human intervention.

                                       For this I tried the procedures given in our NI site,  but the problem we facing is when we switch OFF and ON the program doesn't start automatically. When we rebooted it by software and reset manually then only its working. But I want this is to rectified, Can anybody help me by providing solution to the same.

Hello Shivkumar,

It sounds like you are currently using a start-up executable on your cRIO Controller.  If I am understanding correctly, the reset button and software reboot both result in the application starting up without problems.  It also sounds like unplugging the cRIO and replugging it (simulating a power failure) will not result in the application starting up with the controller.  In this case, make sure that the disable startup switch is not switched at the time of boot-up.  The switches are only read during the boot-up sequence of the controller.  You are then able to switch them without them having any effect.
