how do I adjust the 'exposure' time for an NI-1428

Is it possible to adjust the amount of time devoted to capturing an image? (I have seen this calle dthe integration time, I believe.) Similar to extending the exposure of a camera. I have an app that we are using a 50x objective (fully zoomed) and wish to get a brighter picture than we are currently. If this is possible, what is the best method to do so.
Thanks in advance,

The possibility of controlling the exposure time or shutter depends on wether your camera supports it or not. Commonly CameraLink cameras do support it, but we need to know which camera you are using in order to see the camera file for it. Your ".icd" file should have the description about it.

There may be three different ways of setting it, and it depends on the camera you use to have one, two or the three options:
1. Your camera in MAX will show on the properties page parameters for setting shutter control speed, or exposure time, so you can change those parameters from MAX, and also in software using the IMAQ Set Attribute function.
2. Your camera can set this time with a serial command, so you have to send out a serial command.
3. Your camera has some dip sw
itches to set this time in the camera itself.

Please check this with your camera.
