There are a couple of things you can try to remove the error you're seeing.
If there is anything wrong with the software installation on the RIO, it could cause the error. Reinstalling the software on the RIO from the Measurement & Automation Explorer might help.
If there is a network issue (such as a conflict with Windows Firewall), there are a few steps you can take documented in this KB:
