open a vi saved with Labview 8.0 in Labview 7.1

Would you please tell me how to open a vi saved with Labview 8.0 in Labview 7.1?
I can't open the VIs.

Sorry to say that you cannot do it!

A VI created in a higher version of labview cannot be opened in a lower version.

However, open that VI in LabVIEW 8.0, in menu>> file>> save with options, choose save for previous version and later you can open  a VI thus saved, in LaVIEW 7.1
