"system can't find flexrio target " when PXIE-7966 ONLY

hello everyone,

I installed a second-hand PXIE-7966 FPGA module in a  PXIE-7071 chassis with a PXIE-8821 controller. the computer and MAX can recognize the PXIE-7966 FPGA module after installing LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA Module, NI FlexRIO, and NI FlexRIO Adapter Module Support. Installed 7966 card appeared under the 1071 chassis in the list of the installed devices. However, failure appeared when creating an FPGA project and a dialog box "system can't find flexrio target "popped out.

is this because I didn't install an adapter module such as NI-5782? Does anyone know the reason? I am waiting and thanks for your answer.

Is the PXIe-8821 a Windows or RT controller?

When you try to add the target in the LabVIEW Explorer, did you right-click on the My Computer or Remote RT Target?

Thanks for your answer. It's a Windows controller. A PXIE-7856R R series FPGA has been installed and used in the chassis, I created an FPGA project of the PXIE-7966R in a similar way.
