Free memory: 324MB, used 554MB (with no user application running)
NI MAX shows Linux RT System Image 21.0 is currently installed
I do not use or need to use LabView, just use python scripts to take readings -- that bit is working just fine -- I am just reading a rotary encoder, and setting some lines high to turn on another system. What I need to do is to drastically cut base memory consumption so I can get a 512MB or 256MB model for development work.
What things can I uninstall to save memory without cutting into things I actually need? I've attached the MAX screen that shows what was installed when I got the system.
Tempting targets here that look like they are using quite a bit of memory include the DAQmxRemoteService and the NIWebServiceContainer, neither of which I use (I believe). For the WebService container, however, I'm not even sure what to uninstall.
Any pointers or guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
