scxi 1112

Hi,

I connect a SCXI 1112 to measure temperature to a 6025E. But I have some problem of reading. Sometimes after 10 mn, I have some wrong temperature. The temperature increase from 25 ºC to around 350 ºC. But when I reinitialize my program the problem disappear. I read on the user manual that there is a recommended warm up time of 20 mn, what is it?
Or perhaps it's a problem of alimentation?
Thanks for your help.

Greetings Franc,

The warm-up time is the suggested time between powering up the SCXI chassis/modules chassis and the starting of an acquisition. Not allowing adequate time for the SCXI-1112 to warm-up time shouldn't be causing this problem.

Are you using just one thermocouple with the SCXI-1112 or are you using multiple thermocouples?

If you are using just one thermocouple, would you have any additional thermocouples you could connect to the SCXI-1112? This would let us make sure that the thermouple is not the problem.

If you are using multiple thermocouples, do all of the thermocouple readings exhibit this behavior? If so, then we can probably rule out the thermcouples being the problem.

Since you're reading the correct temperature for 10 minute
s, I don't think that the problem is in software.
