Hello,
I am trying to collect data from thermocouples, transducers, and the like using a cRIO 9114 that has been connected to an EtherCat 9144. This project was originally written on Labview 2011 and we are trying to reconfigure it for Labview 2017. As of now the project 'runs' however no data is being acquired. It seems as though the cRIO and EtherCat aren't speaking to my computer. I pinged the cRIO using my command prompt and it is successful but trying to read or query using MAX VISA gives me the following error.
"visa hex 0xbfff0015 timeout expired".
I'm not sure why I'm getting this error, but as i said the write arrow does run the project and the interface activates but the live readings of the temperatures will not show up. I was getting an error before about some VIs that aren't supported by the current project because I can't use a VI on a real time target, however that error no longer shows up.

Seems you have some configuration troubles.
Can you provide the MAX report of your PC and NI controller? If feasible, I would also like to have a look at your LabVIEW project.

What is MAX report?

This link further describes MAX technical reports and how to generate them.
