Hello all, this is my first blog post, so if you can suggest any details on blog ettiquette and posting please do!
Going to my question, it seems that the Sorensen DHP power supply accepts and executes commands from a modified VI, which was modified from the original version found here: http://www.sorensen.com/products/DHP/DHP_Downloads.htm
However, there is a file read feature on the VI which should display a numeric string displaying the current, voltage, or power level (depending on user choice) as it's sent from the power supply, which does not display. This would normally be used to ensure that the power supply is executing the user-specified amperage.
How can I get the power supply readings to display?

Hey lbv_dude,
The LLB includes a bunch of VIs for that power supply. I would make sure you are running the correct VI and also confirm that you are able to get at least a response back from something basic like a *IDN?
