Agilent output Signal to be displayed over Labview

Hi, I am very new in Labview programming, I am trying to control agilent signal generator 33220 over Labview VI, and at the same time receive and display the output signals generated on PC over my Labview programm. My question is what kind of adapter could I take to receive the signal into my notebook and which parameters shall I take from the signal to restore it on Labview programm. Is it alos possible to receive the generated signal directly over GPIB/USB interface?

Hi XFSong,

it is possible to control your Agilent 33220 over GPIB, USB or Ethernet. For all of them, you can use the VISA-driver-technology to communicate with the instrument from LabVIEW. Please refer to the user manual of your device to learn more about all available functions and commands. There will be a command to get the values from the device and to send the values. It is possible to display them with LabVIEW, if you can get the signals with one of the above mentioned ports.
