Are there drivers for SCXI 1000?

I am trying to see if I can control the SCXI via RTLinux (I'll be using the NI 607xE as the DAQ). I'm wondering if there is a seperate driver for the SCXI 1000 chasis? I snooped around and found drivers for the DAQ via the Comedi developers, but I'm not sure if that is sufficient to controll the SCXI 1000 chasis (the chasis will probably have a couple of SCXI 1100 modules in it).

Does anyone know if you do need seperate drivers for the chasis? I guess if you need seperate drivers in windows, you'll likely need it for RTlinux also, but I'm not sure if there are seperate drivers for SCXI in Windows.

Any help regarding these driver issues will be greatly appreciated, even if its not for RTlinux.

SCXI Drivers for Linux

I am sorry to say that there currently is not support for SCXI in Linux. Though there is a way to address the channels through the card, there is no way to configure the chasis in that operating system.

You could be right but there is a guy (Caleb Tennis) on the Comedi mailing
list that may have been successful.
