Avoid or increase (to 16.kHz) lowpass filter on scc sg24 module

Is it any possibility to avoid lowpass filter or increase lowpass filter to at least 16 kHz at scc SG24 module.

Installed lowpass filter 1.6 kHz totally spoil the shape of the real signal.

Thank you for quick answer!

Hi Tomaz,

unfortunately the low-pass filter on the SG24 module is built in the circuitry, so it's not possible to change it or bypass it.

Sorry I couldn't help you more and please don't hesitate to ask any further questions!

Have a great day.

Do you have any module for full bridge strain gages which can do 5 Mega samples per second and do not have any lowpass filter? My application is to measure force at pendulum (weight) which is falling from high of 3 m. During the impact the velocity is app. 7,6 m/s and duration for DAQ is app 5 ms.

Hi Tomaž,

unfortunately NI doesn't offer modules for SCC without low-pass filters. Nevertheless, you can connect your DAQ's AI directly to the measured sensor and use the SCC for the excitation. Even though it requires a little tweaking of your hardware, it should fit your requirements.

Please let me know if that helps!

Have a great day.
