Yes. As long as Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) verifies the chassis and all of the installed modules, you will be able to create virtual channels for any of the modules - so long as the channel you select is appropriate for the action required. For example, you could not select an analog output channel for an analog input operation. The channel setup wizard is designed so that when you create a virtual channel, the device selection portion will allow you to select any appropriate module or channel that is recognized by MAX. If for some reason you can not select the channels, check the setup in MAX to verify the chassis. You may need to adjust the chassis/module settings to create a valid chassis.
