Can I connect four SCXI 1125 modules to a single PCI 6071E DAQ in parallel mode?

Hello,

Can somebody help me in configuring my DAS:

Application Description: I need to acquire +/- 50V signal with DAQ card. NI PCI 6071E may be suitable for my system requirement of 32 differential channels also the sampling rate. But input range of PCI 6071E os only +/-10V. So, I need to use signal conditioning circuitry for my +/-50 so that the output of it can be connected to input of PCI 6071E card in a parallel mode. I feel SCXI 1125 can do this job. So, for all 32 differential channels I have to use four scxi 1125 modules. But now, my problem is how to connect the output of four scxi 1125 modules to NI PCI 6071E input. We can not use scxi multiplexing for this purpose, because we need to connect in parallel mode of operation.

So, kindly suggest me in connecting outputs of four scxi 1125 modules (4X8=32 ch., differential) to the input od single PCI 6071E DAQ card (32 ch. differential).

Hello ADM,

You cannot connect four SCXI-1125 to a single 6071E in parrallel mode.  If you refer to the SCXI-1125 User Manual, under the Operating in Parallel Mode section, you see that each 1125 requires a devoted DAQ device cabled to it. 

If you are configuring a system, I recommend calling one of NI's Internal Sales Reps as they are experts in configuring systems.
