Can I use an SCXI-1303 terminal block on SCXI-1102B in conjunction w/ an SCXI-1300 terminal block on an SCXI-1581 for RTD temperature measurements?

Will the SCXI-1303 terminal block and 1102B be suitable for RTD measurements if I am providing current excitation with the SCXI-1581 and 1300 terminal block? Or do I have to use the 1300 on both modules?

Both terminal blocks (1303 and 1300) are compatible with the SCXI-1102/B/C modules. The SCXI-1300 is a general-purpose terminal block and has an onboard IC sensor for CJC. The SCXI-1303 is designed especially for high-accuracy thermocouple measurements and includes isothermal construction that minimizes errirs caused by thermal gradients between terminals and the cold-junction sensor. The 1303 also includes circuitry for open-thermocouple detection.

Thanks. Based on your reply, for a 3 lead RTD, I can connect a jumper and the third wire to the SCXI-1303 on my SCXI-1102B module as shown on pg D-11 of the 1581 manual. The 1303 & 1300 are in essence, the same except for additional thermal compensation circuitry on the 1303 for TC measurements.
