Connection for Red Lion 2 wire PSA 1B sensor to 5B45 for RPM

I am trying to find out if the red lion 2 wire prox. sensor can be connected to a 5B45 module for rpm and what the proper connections are.

I am unfamiliar with the Red Lion 2 Wire Proximity(?)Sensor, but you should be able to determine this information according to the 5B user manuals found here. Page 39 shows a circuit diagram as well as specifications for the 5B45 module. Notice that National Instruments does not maintain the latest user manuals for the 5B Series products. For the most updated information, refer to the Analog Devices webpage.

Depending on how that sensor outputs, it appears that you will be connecting between pins 2 and 3. Again, please refer to the 5B manual for information on connecting signals.
