Hard drive crash, errors 10031 & 10007. What do I do next I have no ideas?

We had a hard drive crash yesterday that was unrecoverable.  I have installed a new hard drive and software (windows ME).  I also reinstalled the labview version 5.1.1 and ni daq 6.9.1.  I keep getting an error (10031) that the specified scxi chassis does not correspond to a configured scxi chassis.  I also get error (10007) that a channel or port is out of range.  How can I resolve these issues, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello numatics,

Can you give us some more information about the circumstances in which these errors occur?  Do these errors occur when trying to run the test panels in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) or within a program you've written?  If you are using an SCXI signal conditioning system, you will need to configure that system in MAX under Devices and Interfaces.  Directions for how to do this can be found in the Getting Started with SCXI Manual (see chapter 2).

Another thought is that it is required to install your software in a particular order.  First install LabVIEW and then the NI-DAQ driver software.  If you performed the installation in a different order, you can always go back and repair your NI-DAQ installation or perform a complete uninstall and reinstall.

If this doesn't help, let us know some more information about the hardware you are using and when these errors occur.

Travis G.
