How do I generate a report of a vi I wrote that I can append to my thesis?

Hello.  I wrote a vi to collect voltage readings and I just need to generate a report that I can append to my thesis.  I've seen some buttons that make reports but I don't know what they give and I can't figure out how to use them.  I just need a report that at least tells what was done mathematically to obtain and filter data.  If I could have a response by Thursday evening, that would be great.

Hi Aaron,

So if I understand you correctly, you need to append a report that depicts the programming scheme you implemented for your filter application. If this is the case, I think the best way to do this would be to export the front panel and the block diagram to an Adobe PDF. (This is what I did for my thesis as well.) This will document the explicit funtions that were employed in your program, just like printing out lines in C.

If you have access to Adobe Professional, you can simply select to Print both windows to the Adobe PDF Printer that is available. This will create the pdf of whatever you select to print.
