How to configure daq channels with scc-sg-04

HI,
I am using Labview 6.1. I am measuring force. following is the list of hardware i am using
scc-sg-04 ,scc-sg-11 ,sc-2345 ,pci-6024
I have configured the daq channels but not getting proper reading so i am reading votage by max. The reading of voltage varies from 0.0070 volts to 0.0095 volts while output of the loadcell varies from 0.2 mVolt to 1.4 mVolt(7 times)
So pls let me know how to configure the load cell channels in daq(6.9.3)
Thanks in anticipation

Have you configured the SC-2345 carrier and the various strain gauge modules in MAX? Try removing the SCC-SG11 module and just use the SG04. Make sure your load cell is connected correctly. When you are monitoring the voltage in MAX, does the voltage fluctuate if you apply pressure to the load cell?

Hey thanks for the reply but i have configured sc-2345 in MAX and added all the modules SCC-SG-11 and SCC-SG-04. and loadcell connection are ok. When there is a change in the pressure the voltage fluctuats but the problem is that change in pressure almost from 300kg to 2000kg but the voltage fluctuation is very less.
Voltage varies from 0.0070 Volts to 0.0095 Volts.
Is there any need to removing SG-11 module bcoz this module will come into picture when i start Digital output on ?
Pls reply

I suggested removing the SG-11 for trouble shooting purposes. This would allow us to simplify the system in order to help figure out why you are not getting the readings you expect. Previously you mentioned:
***
output of the loadcell varies from 0.2 mVolt to 1.4 mVolt
***
Are these values from the documentation of the load cell? Essentially, what voltage do you expect when you apply a 300kg load? What voltage do you expect when you apply a 2000kg load? Have you verified these voltages with a voltmeter or something to make sure the load cell is actually generating those voltages?

Thanks again for your reply.

According to the loadcell manual i am getting almost perfect readings while measuring the voltages with multimeter for different force.(300 KG to 2000Kg)

But my problem is that i should get gain of almost 100 which i am not getting.

Would you please tell me that can i directly measure voltage on the channel No.X of 6024 card.for the measurement of the force.

What positions do you have your SCC-SG modules in? You can directly measure the voltage without applying the scaling performed in the virtual channel. For simple troubleshooting purposes, set up your system as follows:
1) place SCC-SG04 in position J1 (or any other single stage AI position up to J8. We will not be using the SCC-SG11 for the initial test.)
2) connect your strain gauge to one of the channels on the SCC-SG04 (verify correct connections)
3) verify that your data acquisition board is configured in NRSE (non-referenced single ended) mode in MAX
4) configure the accessory of this board to be the SC-2345 with your SC-SG04 in the appropriate position

With this done, you should be able to open the test panel for you
data acquisition board and reference the physical channel to which you have connected your strain gauge. Change the high and low input limits to an appropriate range in order to see any fluctuation when you apply a force. Let me know if you are able to see any fluctuation in the signal when the force is applied.

Dear Sir ,

I am Making same project as u.

 I am getting Same Problem.

I am Connect the Load cell with 6212  But I am not getting the actually value of load cell.

Help me if u have any Vi regarding this.

Thanks

Shishir
