How to generate an output signal ?

We are using SCXI 1000 chassis and SCXI 1125 module for data acquisition. Can we generate an output signal through this hardware?

Greetings,

With this hardware alone you cannot output a signal. The SCXI-1125 only gives you access to the analog input lines of your NI-DAQ board.

I would suggest using an SCXI-1180 feedthrough module to access the analog output ports. Here is the overview of this panel from our website:

Overview
The SCXI-1180 feedthrough panel extends the I/O signals of the plug-in DAQ board to the front of the SCXI chassis. The SCXI-1180 is installed in a single slot of the SCXI chassis, and connects to the 50-pin male breakout connector of an SCXI cable assembly, such as an SCXI-1349 or SCXI-1353 connected to an SCXI module in an adjacent slot. Alternatively, if you wish to access I/O signals of additional DAQ boards, you can cable a separate DAQ board to the 50-pin rea
r connector of the SCXI-1180 with the appropriate cable.

Hope this helps,
Anuj D.
