How to install SCXI 1540 via pxi 6052E in a PXI 1011 chassis

Hi,

I'm trying to configure a SCXI 1540 to work with the PXI 6052E in a PXI 1011 chassis. Unfortunately the SCXI portion cannot be detected under MAX? can someone help on on how to set it up from the beginning?

Hey ibnjam,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments support.  You need to have the 6052E in the last slot closest to the SCXI portion of the chassis.  Also the chassis will not just show up in MAX you need to manually add the chassis and a dialog will appear that detects the modules in the chassis.
