I'm looking for an AC current output card in PCI format.

 I'm specifically looking to control the amount of current at a specified voltage, not just output an AC voltage.  Is there such a card available?

Just to specify, I have a customer who has a specific board that has 3-phase current sense inputs.  I'm trying to find a PCI card that is compatible with LabVIEW, in which we can regulate the amount of current being supplied by the card.  Does NI have a PCI card available that can do this?

Hello,

Yes, National Instruments does offer some PCI current output boards.  Please look into the PCI 6704 and PCI 623//6239.  I have linked a KnowledgeBase about our current output options and the related boards’ specifications.  Please note that the output range on the two PCI options are 0 - 20 mA.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Unfortuanetly this doesnt help me at all because both of the cards you recommended are DC current sources.  I need an AC current source.  But at this time the project I was researching AC current sources for is going to be satisfied with AC voltage sources, so I dont need one anyways.  Thanks for looking into it for me,
