I safely convert the 24 V PWM output from the NI-9474 into a clean 0–5 V PWM signal

Hello,

How can I safely convert the 24 V PWM output from the NI-9474 into a clean 0–5 V PWM signal that:

Drops below 0.97 V when LOW (to turn the pump ON),

Stays near 5 V when HIGH (to turn the pump OFF),

And follows the duty cycle accurately?

transistor circuit, optocoupler, or logic-level shifter—whatever works best with the NI-9474's sourcing output.

You can change the power supply connected to 9474 to be 5V and you don't need an external logic level shifter.

If you can, I would recommend buying another DO card for the 5V signals instead of having to purchase external signal level shifter and wiring.
