Problem with SCXI 1001 blackplane, one channel altering all others

I am running a PXI 1031 chassis with a PXI 6281 multifunction DAQ card conneted to a SCXI 1001 signal conditioning Chassis containing 12 SCXI-1520 modules and SCXI-1314 terminal blocks.  The comunicating module (SCXI 1349) is located on module 1.  When attempting to read an analog input on ai1 on module 1 it changes the input from all other channels for the entire SCXI 1001 chassis.  Changes in the anolog signal on module 1-ai1 are seen in the ouput from all other channels.  I have swaped out the SCXI-1520 and terminal block in module 1, with replacements that have proven to be working however the problem persists.

If the communicating module is changed to module 2 on the SCXI-1001 chassis the problem disappears and all the reading appear as the should.

My thinking is that this would be a problem with the backplane of the SCXI chassis.

Thanks

Murray

This sounds like a possible hardware malfunction. Here are a couple other suggestions:

- In addition to slot 2, try the 1349 in a couple other slots in the SCXI chassis.

- Test multiple AI channels to see if all are affected, or only a subset of channels.
