SCC-2345 with M-series DAQ (PCI-6221)

I'm trying to configure PCI-6221 M-series card to use SCC-2345. There are LV7.1 and NI-DAQ 7.3 installed on the WinXP system. MAX recognizes PCI-6221 in the "Devices". However, the drop-down list of "Accessories" pane in the "Properties" dialog does not show SCC-2345 as an accessory.
The question is: Is this normal behavior of NI-DAQ 7.3? If not, what needs to be done so it will recognize SCC-2345 as a valid accessory?

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.

This is the expected behavior. To configure a SCC-2345 in MAX, right-click on DAQmx Devices select Create New NI-DAQmx Device... >> NI-DAQmx SCC Connector Block >> SC-2345. Then you can select the M-Series card in the DAQ Device pull-down menu.
