SCC SG24 gain error

I'm utilizing a SCC-SG24 Strain-Gauge Input Module with a full scale value of .018564392 volts = 50.19lbs.
The transfer characteristics of the device states that the Gain Error = +/- .2% of reading max.
That being the case. Is the gain error equal to +/- .002 * 50.19 lbs = .1003875 lbs.
And should this gain error be applied through the entire range of measurement?
In other words, if I am measuring a load of 10 lbs, would my measurement uncertainty due to gain error be 10 lbs plus or minus .1003875 lbs.?

Thank You!

Hello there,

Yes, your interpretation of the max possible error is correct. What that is telling you is the tolerances of your device that the worst possible error is 0.2% of the Max load, and yes that tolerance is throughout the range of your readings. I hope that clarifies things for you. If not, feel free to post back with your question.
