SCXI-1102 Thermocouple.vi using MAX

I have configured virtual channels using MAX. When I read from the 1102/1303 I need the CJC temperaure to linearize the temperature. I need the address of the CJC or the DAQ channel name using the I/O control. cjtemp for instance do not work.

KnowledgeBase "How Can I Address and Use Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) with SCXI Modules?" gives a very detailed discussion of how to address the cold junction compensation channel of all SCXI modules. Make sure that when you type in the full SCXI channel string to address the cjc i.e. ob0!sc1!md1!cjtemp. I hope this helps you.

Yes I know that, thank You. That was the old way with string controls. However, these days you get an I/O control when you create a control for an Analog Input Vi. Then you can click on the control and list the channels you created in MAX. What I want to do is to add the name of the CJC channel to the I/O control, following the latest trends. And string controls give you an ugly dot on the channels terminal.
