SCXI-1300/SCXI-1100--> Cable?

I'm trying to figure out if I have the hardware/cables to set up my system to properly aquire data through the SCXI-1300 terminal block

My current setup
SCXI-1300 term block--> scxi-1100 [inside scxi-1000 chassi]--->scxi-1349 pin converter-->sch68-68 cable --> pci-6221

I'm able to aquire data through this system, however not as intended through the SCXI-1300 term block. So what cable and DAQ card do I need for this system to operate properly?

I also didn’t understand what is you question. Anyway, I have a similar system, with

PCI 6220 -> SHC68-68-EPM -> SCXI 1000 -> SCXI 1104/1100 -> SCXI 1300

Notice that there is no pin converter. This system is working as expected (well).

Geothermal,

Thanks for contacting National Instruments.  What kind of data are you trying to acquire with this setup?  Are you connecting to thermocouples, some other transducer, or just an analog voltage?  I know others have asked for clarification and I ask the same.

krivilli,

You say you do not have a pin converter.  How are you connecting to the back of your 1100 or 1104, or are you connecting with a 1349 to another module that is controlling the chassis.  You need to have the 1349 to connect to the SHC68-68-EPM cable.  I may be missing something here, but your statement seems confusing.

Hi Kenn

Yes, I think I did misunderstand myself. I do use a SCXI chassis-DAQ device adapter, but not a1349 one. I use an old one which is labeled as 1397 (from manufactured on1994). But, actually, thy are really the same (visually the same,, when inspecting both 1397 and 1349 boards).

I was as not to able to find any reference to the 1397 on NI's website. So I wanted to point out this by saying that I don’t have a 1349 pin adapter.
