SCXI1121 with PXI6071E

Can any body tell me how i can interface SCXI 1121 with PXI 6071E. and acquire date?

i have PXI chassis having PXI 8176 controller with PXI 6071E MIO.

Hi Vishnu,

To use the 1121, you would need an SCXI chassis (or SCXI/PXI combo chassis). 

If you already have the 1121, I'll assume you already have some type of chassis.  The way to use the 1121 is going to differ slightly if you are using a combo chassis or a stand-alone SCXI chassis:

• Combo Chassis - The control routes are made for you across the chassis backplane.  You need to have your 6071E in the rightmost slot of the PXI portion of the chassis to have access to these routes.  If you need to, you can refer to the manual of your chassis for more information about setting this up (1050 / 1052 manuals)
• SCXI Chassis - You would need to cable your 6071E to the 1121, since there is no built-in physical connection as above.  To do this, you would need an SCXI-1349 adapter to connect to your 1121 using the standard E Series 68-pin cable (SH68-68-EP).  Here is a link to the SCXI-1000 4 slot chassis page for your convenience.
