Strain gauge on AI(X+8)on SCC-SG24 doesnt work. Strain gauge on AI(x) works.

I have two full bridge, 350 ohm strain gauges that I want to log with a SCC-SG24 module. I am using a SC-2345 DAQ Device. WHen I wire the two strain gauges up to the SCC-SG24 module, only the strain gauge that is hooked up to the AI(X)+ and AI(X)- screw terminals(5 and 6) work. I can only read noise from the AI(X+8)+ and - terminals.
