Did you mean:

Where can I find a discription for error code -200175 (NI-Switch)???

Is there a COMPLETE Documentation of ALL error codes ???

I dont think so.

Please do not refer to the shitty  Article: Ranges of LabVIEW Error Codes.

This is only bullshit because it is incomplete (Ni-Switch is not mentioned there).

When you try it with the NI search function you get two very interesting results:

1. type -200175: 168182 results. Seems to be the whole database.

2. type "-200175": zero results.

I hope somebody knows this error and can tell me what causes it.

Thank you very much.

Within LabVIEW under Help/Explain Error, typing in -200175 yields:

Error -200175 occurred at an unidentified location

Possible reason(s):

Measurements: Hardware is not responding.

Ensure your hardware is powered on and all cables are properly connected.

peter,

Error codes mean different things to different people.

I see that you posted on 1/22/2008.

Ironically, I was shipped my PXI-4110 on exactly that date.

After some most stressful interactions with NI, I have learned that to me, Error 200175 will mean that my PXI-4110 has blown a fuse in the absence of any over-current condition.

Anyway, it turns out that the PXI-4110 is part of "Long-Term Fuse Reliability" recall.

Error codes 50400, 200313, 200550, 239022, 200175, 1074115760 may be an indication of this fuse failure.

NI says it will occur after 18 to 24 months of continued use.  Just a matter of time.  Your milage may very, so to speak.

Products that NI admits are affected are:

NI 4110, NI 4461, NI 4462, NI 5122, NI 5124, NI 5142, NI 5105, NI 5152, NI 5153, NI 5154.

I believe that these model designations are equivalent to these:

PXI-4110, PXI-4461, PXI-4462, PXI-5122, PXI-5124, PXI-5142, PXI-5105, PXI-5152, PXI-5153, PXI-5154.

NI has also offered to to RMA our PXI-4472, PXI-4472B,  which they say is not affected by the recall, but NI does say that it might extend their life further.

Please bear in mind that NI has changed the fuses used in newly manufactured cards so not all are affected.

I believe that NI does not fully know the scope of affected models or manufacute dates.

Nor do I beleive NI has fully disseminated details about this Long-Term Fuse Reliability issue.

I am concerned that others have experienced these reported error codes on other models such as PXI-6602, PXI-407x, PXI-6733.

Peter, you do not actually mention which card is causing your instance of error -200175.

Has your issue been resolved?

Kevin
