analog out amplification?

I meant a simple DC controlled power supply.  Doesn't have to be anything fancy.
 
+/- 5 VDC in, +/5 VDC out, with higher current source available.

A simple voltage follower power OP amp should do the job. Browse the web pages from linear, National semi, IRF .... there are lots of driver OPs that will fit your needs.
And look into some app notes. If you want to drive a DC motor you (better) have to think about some protection circuitry (diodes, C) since you drive inductors 😉
Next think to look at is the part list of your supplier.(price).. and maybe if you can get parts that easy fit your bread board skills (not all are DIP nowadays and who wants to solder QFN by hand 😉 )
 
Sorry for not beeing more specific, just not my current task , but maybe someone else ( here or in a alt.sci.electronics.??? ) can point you to a specific OP.
